Jasmine Patel '22, MA (she/her/hers) serves as a Program Specialist within the Center for Identity and Inclusion and oversees Asian, Pacific Islander and Desi Student Services. She identifies as South Asian/Desi American. Jasmine’s role is to mentor, support, and encourage students in the formation and celebration of their identities. She strongly believes that higher education provides the perfect environment for students to not only receive knowledge and training to reach their academic and professional goals, but to understand themselves on a deeper level, grow in their character, and establish their values. To work in higher education is to play a direct role in developing world changers. Jasmine has been at University of the Pacific since September 2019 and started in the Center for Identity and Inclusion in July 2022.

Jasmine earned her BS in Biology with a minor in Anthropology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2017 and her MA in Education with a concentration in Counseling Psychology from University of the Pacific in 2022.
