Guest chef brings a taste of Italy to Pacific

Fresh garlic knots. Homemade pasta. Authentic Italian pizza. Bon Appetit Chef Giuseppe Randazzo served a delicious array of dishes while visiting the Stockton Campus for a week. 

His culinary creations were served in the Lair, the pub-style eatery on the second floor of the DeRosa University Center.

Randazzo travels the country teaching the art of pizza and pasta making to Bon Appetit chefs, which he began learning as a child growing up in Palermo, Sicily.

“I’ve been learning (to make pizza) since I was 12 years old,” Randazzo said. “I remember the oven was so high that I had to go on top of the milk crate.”
